Latin Name: Cynodon dactylon Pers
Quitch root is very common in Greek flora and its medicinal uses have been known since the time of Ancient Greeks.
Growing spring time, traditionally it has been used as:

• Diuretic, reducing body water retention

• Antiphlogistic against inflammations of the urogenital system

• To reduce swelling in joints, e.g. due to rheumatism

• To hinder the formation of stones in the bile

• To reduce the swelling of the joints due to rheumatism

• In general against liver malfunctions

• 30 gr

Available in non-pulverized form to be used as a sipping: Add 1 teaspoon of the herb in cold water and boil it for at least 15 minutes. Consume preferably with an empty stomach or 3 hours after meal.
