Product Description

Latin Name: Chamomilla recutita
Chamomile’s name comes from the ancient Greek “χαμαίμηλον” which means apple of the earth, due to its scent which resembles the one of apples. Its distinctive perfume comes from the cadmium it contains, very rare for a plant. It also has the ability to strengthen the weak plants around it.
Traditional uses:

• Relaxing against stress and nervous tension

• Especially for babies, washing the baby with chamomile or preparing infant's milk with chamomile instead of plain water helps baby to sleep

• Against stomach and bowel disorders

• Against strong vaginal pains

• Antiseptic for mouth and eyes infections

• 40 gr

Its taste is highlighted when served with lemon or honey

Available in tea bags and in non-pulverized form to be used as an infusion: Add 1 teaspoon of the herb in cup of boiled water and leave it covered for 30 minutes. Filter the infusion and drink it. Consume preferably with an empty stomach or 3 hours after meal.
