Latin Name: Chamaemelum nobile
Roman Chamomile was first used in ancient Egypt as an exotic gift to the Gods. Other uses included hair bleaching and cure for hicterus. Roman chamomile mainly grows in countries of central Europe and in North America between June and July but also in regions of Argentina.
Often confused with similar-looking Chamomile, it is traditionally used:

• To maintain the natural blonde hair color

• To lighten the color of dark hair

• Suitable for small children

Available in non-pulverized form to be used as a sipping: Add a teaspoon in cold water and let it boil for at least 2 minutes. Filter the solution and rinse off the clean hair. Leaves hair clean, soft and lightly scented.
